In this 5-week class, you will learn sewing basics by creating several projects for everyday use (patchwork pincushion, Pillow case, Apron, Zipper Bag and a Drawstring Bag or Jewelry Pouch.Skills learned include curved seams, elastic casing, zippers, hems and more! In class you will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread a machine and sew a straight line. SEWING MACHINE WILL BE PROVIDED FOR USE IN CLASS.

Come join us for this beautiful Block of the Month introducing Paradise by Wing and a Prayer Design featuring Timeless Treasures Tonga Batiks. This Block of the Month will be for the Quilt Top only, quilting and binding will be done separately by the student. The Paradise BOM uses 12 specially chosen fabrics that represent the colors of the tropics. Traditional piecing techniques are used in making this 108” square quilt with the option of a queen finish at 98” x 106”.
