Beginning Quilting 1
Students will learn the basics of patchwork and quilting by making a lap size quilt. Students will choose from the following patterns: 5 Yard Quilt Patterns or 3 Yard Quilt Books
Students will learn the basics of patchwork and quilting in five 2 1/2 hour sessions.
Class meets January 16, 23, February 6, 13 & 20. There will be no class on January 30.
A minimum of 4 students is needed to hold this class. Maximum number of students is 6.
Come to the class with your sewing machine, fabric, thread, wound bobbins, rotary cutter and mat, quilting ruler, 1/4" foot (if you have one) and fabric shears.

Space is limited in all of our classes. Please, sign up early!
Please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you need to back out of a class. Our teachers work very hard preparing for class and to do so properly, they need to have a head count a couple of weeks before the class begins.
Because all class fees go to our teachers, we cannot refund class fees if you do not show up for a class or if you cancel less than 1 week before the start of the class.
Supplies:
5/8 yard fabric for binding
3 1/4 yard of 45" fabric for backing
! TWIN size batting
The Pattern (Popsicle Sticks, Texas Two Step, Turning Twenty or a teacher approved pattern)
