| Instructor Bio: | Meet Johannah: The Beginner's Bestie Johannah is the queen of beginner-friendly quilting and a self-proclaimed ruler of "not-perfect-is-still-fabulous." Despite owning a sewing store and being surrounded by quilt perfectionists daily, she has steadfastly avoided anything beyond "easy" quilting patterns. She believes quilting should be about joy, not judgment—because who needs perfect triangles when you have perfectly good snacks? Before Johannah's quilting reign, she taught a wildly unrelated class on writing resumes to about 50 students at a time (yes, really). While that didn’t involve fabric or thread, it did hone her talent for making intimidating tasks approachable. Now, Johannah brings that same energy to her quilting classes, helping others relax, laugh, and embrace their inner “imperfectly perfect” quilter. Whether your seams are straight or your triangles look like trapezoids, Johannah’s here to cheer you on—and maybe share some snacks. |
